Part 1. How to Turn On Disney+ Subtitles

Here is how you can enable Disney+ subtitles on different devices:

On a Web Browser

  1. Visit disneyplus.com on a browser and log in to your account.
  2. While a movie is playing, tap the SETTINGS icon in the top right corner.

On Mobile Device

  1. Launch the Disney+ app on your phone or tablet and choose a title to play.
  2. Tap the SETTINGS icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  1. To enable Disney+ subtitles, select a language from the “Subtitles” options.

  1. Launch your Disney+ app on your Smart TV and choose a video to play.

  1. While playing a video on Disney+, press the Star button on your Roku remote to open the Options menu.
  2. Navigate to the Closed Captioning option
  3. Choose When Captions Appear:
    • On always – Captions appear automatically (if available).
    • On replay – captions appear only when you press Replay replay button on Roku remote on the Roku remote
    • On mute – captions appear only when the volume is muted
  4. Go to Accessibility & Captions to select your preferred subtitle language.

Step 4. Download movies or TV shows
