Disney Plus offers a vast library of on-demand shows and movies from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. Just like other streaming services, Disney+ recommends content based on what you watch. If you accidentally started something you’re not interested in, want to manage your completed shows and movies, or pick up where you left off, here’s how you can manage your Disney+ viewing history effectively.
Disney+ doesn’t offer a traditional watch history, but there are two ways to keep track of what you’ve watched.
If you want to find the content you’ve started but still need to finish, go to the “Continue Watching” section on the home page. Please note that once you’ve done watching a title, it will be automatically removed from the Continue Watching list.
If you want to keep track of titles you’ve completed, it is recommended to add the shows or movies you are watching to the Watchlist. Once you have added a title to your Watchlist, you can revisit it even if you have done watching.
To find the Watchlist on the Disney+ mobile app, tap your profile icon at the bottom and select Watchlist.
The Disney+ Watchlist is located at the top of the web player.
Disney+ offers the “Continue Watching” and “Watchlist” features to help you keep track of your viewing progress. Here is how you can remove a title from them.
If you’ve finished a show or movie or simply want to remove it from your Watchlist, click on the checkmark under its title.
To add a title to your Watchlist, simply go to a movie or show and click the plus (+) icon under the title. It will turn into the checkmark icon.
As mentioned, once you’ve finished watching a title, it’s automatically removed from the Continue Watching list. However, Disney+ doesn’t offer a direct way to clear or edit this list. If you want to remove a title before finishing it, you can try Manually skipping to the end of the movie or the last episode of a series. Simply drag the progress bar to the end. This often removes the title from the Continue Watching list.
Disney+ offers a convenient download feature to Premium (No Ads) members for offline viewing. But downloaded content can only be played within the Disney+ app on the device where it was downloaded. Most importantly, If you start but don’t finish a downloaded title, it will appear in your Continue Watching list.
To avoid appearing in your Disney+ Continue Watching list, try downloading certain titles to MP4 and watch them with other supported video players. For this purpose, you can use Pazu Disney Plus Downloader. It allows you to download Disney Plus videos in MP4 or MKV format on both Mac or Windows computers.
