May 2023 Update – Six Spider-Man films are launched on Disney+ in the United States.
Mar 21, 2023 Update – All three Sam Raimi Spider–Man films have left Netflix.
Aug 1, 2022 Update – All three Sam Raimi Spider–Man films have now been added to Netflix.
Unlike other Marvel movies, “Spider-Man” films aren’t on Disney+ because the rights to the character were under license with Sony Pictures. Though Marvel Studios owns the big-screen rights to most of its characters, Sony has held the movie rights to “Spider-Man” since 1999. However, Sony decided to partner with Marvel to bring the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in 2016.
As part of the deal, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man made his debut in “Captain America: Civil War(2016).” Sony and Marvel then co-produced “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Far From Home,” and “No Way Home” as joint projects.
Director Sam Raimi helmed Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man in three Sony-produced films. This was followed by Andrew Garfield donning the familiar red and blue tights in two more Sony productions. The third live-action Spider-Man, Tom Holland, would first appear in the Disney-released “Captain America: Civil War,” after Marvel Studios reached a deal with Sony to share the character.

How to Watch the Spider-Man Movies in Order?
You can watch Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy: Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007) on Hulu. (May 2023 update: the 3 films have been removed from Hulu.) Hulu ad-supported plan costs $11.99/month($119.99/year) with one month free trial. Hulu (No Ads) costs $18.99/month with one month free trial.
To watch Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Venom: Let There Be Carnage(2021), and Venom (2018), you will need a STARZ subscription. You can also get STARZ add-on from your Hulu subscription, with 7-day free trial, then $10.99/month.

The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) was available to stream on Netflix in June, 2022, but now it has been removed.

You can also choose to sign up for the Disney+ bundle, which adds Hulu and ESPN Select to your subscription. The bundle plan is priced at $19.99 per month (with ads) or $29.99 per month (Premium), saving you almost half compared to subscribing to all three separately, and at a low price for such a wide range of prime content. If you don’t need sports, the bundle plan featuring just Disney+ and Hulu is available for $12.99 per month (with ads) or $19.99 per month (Premium).
A recent deal between Disney and Sony could bring Spider-Man films to Disney+, but it’s not clear when. According to Disney, Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), and Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) are all joining the streaming service on June 17. Spider-Man 3, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and most importantly, Spider-Man: No Way Home are not part of the arrivals.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is the third-biggest film in U.S. history, behind only Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avengers: Endgame. It’s the sixth-highest-grossing title worldwide with $1.90 billion in grosses. (The top five are Avatar, Avengers: Endgame, Titanic, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avengers: Infinity War.)
Spider-Man: No Way Home, however, is getting a re-release in cinemas on September 2. The ‘More Fun Stuff’ cut is set to include deleted scenes not featured in the original theatrical release.
