Harry Potter is a film series based on the eponymous novels by J. K. Rowling. Standard and Premium subscribers can download movies and TV shows on their phone or tablet to watch offline, although you are limited to 30 or 100 downloads at one time (across all profiles and devices). Once your account has 30 or 100 downloads, you’ll need to delete downloads on a device before you can download something. Unwatched downloads expire after 30 days or 48 hours after you start watching (or when the show or movie leaves the HBO Max service). Once expired, you can renew or delete a download. If the titles leave HBO Max, there is no way to renew.
Besides HBO Max, the 8 Harry Potter films are also on Peacock. Peacock Premium costs $10.99/month. You can also sign up for an annual membership, which costs $109.99/year.
HBO Max itself doesn’t offer an official free trial. Hulu and Amazon Prime Video used to offer a one-week HBO Max free trial; currently, it is not available.
