TV has become one of the main carriers of streaming media. Does your TV support Netflix? If not, you don’t have to rush to get a new TV, as you can easily watch Netflix on TV with the help of a Chromecast dongle. Here’s how to use Chromecast to cast Netflix to your TV from your Android or iOS devices or Google Chrome browser on Mac and PC.

Google Chromecast devices allow you to control your Netflix experience from your Android mobile device, Apple mobile device, or computer from a Chrome browser with the Google Cast extension installed.

  • TVs with Chromecast built-in, Chromecast, Chromecast Ultra, Chromecast with Google TV, or Google TV Streamer.
  • Netflix app downloaded on your mobile device, or Chrome browser with the Google Cast extension installed on a computer.

All Chromecast devices support subtitles, alternate audio, and 5.1 surround sound while casting. Chromecast Ultra, Chromecast with Google TV, and Google TV streamers can also include Dolby Atmos audio.

Part 2. Set up the Chromecast Device

Chromecast devices can be set up using the Google Home app on Android devices running Android 9.0 or later, or iPhone and iPad running iOS 16.0 or later.

Part 5. How to Cast Netflix to TV with ad-supported plan?

Casting Netflix to TV with Chromecast and Chromecast Ultra requires an ad-free Netflix plan. If you have an ad-supported Netflix plan, you can use Chromecast with Google TV and Google TV Streamer, which support Netflix Ad-supported plans. However, a better workaround is to download Netflix videos to MP4 and then cast or watch them directly on your TV. All you need is Pazu Netflix Video Downloader.

Pazu Netflix Video Downloader is a desktop program for Netlfix users to download videos without the Netflix app. It can download movies and TV shows from Netflix to MP4 and MKV. The converted videos can be preserved in high quality as 1080p after a fast download process. Also, subtitles and audio tracks can be kept 100% the same as the original video.
