1. Go to the PlayStation Store and search for HBO Max.

1. Go to Media > All Apps and search for HBO Max.
2. Choose HBO Max and then Download.

Part 2. How to Sign in to and Watch HBO Max on PS4 & PS5

Option 1. Sign in with code

1. Now launch HBO Max from the apps section on your home screen.
2. An activation code will be displayed on your PS4/PS5 screen. Note down this activation code.
3. Using your mobile device or a computer, launch a browser, and go to hbomax.com/signin.

4. Enter the activation code in that form that you see on your PS4/PS5 screen.

Part 2. Play HBO Max movies and TV shows on PS5 consoles and PS4 consoles from a USB drive

After downloading HBO Max movies and TV shows to MP4, transfer them to a USB drive. Make sure the USB drive is formatted with either the exFAT or FAT32 file system. Maximum video resolution is 3840 x 2160.
