This offer only opens to student enrolled at a US Title IV accredited college or university, and above the age of 18. Enrollment status is verified through a third-party service – SheerID. If you are new to Spotify, there is a free one-month trial. Spotify used to offer Premium with Hulu for non-students, but not anymore.

How to subscribe to Spotify Premium student?

Spotify Premium Student now offers 3 months free trial to new Premium users.

1. Go to https://www.spotify.com/us/student/ and click GET 3 MONTHS FREE.

2. Click Sign up for Spotify or log in your account.

3. Fill out the SheerID verification form. If your school’s not listed in this form, you’re not eligible at this time.

4. You’ll be asked to log into your college/university’s portal, or to upload proof of your enrollment.

5. SheerID will email you to confirm eligibility. This can take several days.

6. In the confirmation email, you can apply the Premium Student discount to a new or existing Spotify account.

How to activate Hulu account?

If you don’t have Hulu account:

1. Log into your Spotify Premium for Students account.
2. Go to your account page and select Activate Hulu under Account overview.
3. Complete the required fields and following prompts to activate your Hulu account.
4. Once you’ve activated your Hulu account, log in on any supported devices and start video streaming.

If you already have Hulu account:

1. Make sure your current Hulu account is billed directly through Hulu (not a third party).
2. Ensure that the email associated with both accounts is the same. If they’re not, you’d better changing your Hulu email so it matches the one associated with your Spotify account.
3. Log into your Spotify Premium for Students account.
4. Go to your account page and select Activate Hulu under Account overview.

Why can’t I find Activate Hulu under Account overview?

Spotify Premium with Hulu isn’t available for those who aren’t students. Spotify used to offer Premium with Hulu for non-students, but not anymore. If you already have it but cancel or upgrade to a different plan (e.g. Duo or Family), you’ll lose access to Hulu.

How to cancel Hulu account?

As you get Hulu from Spotify premium student subscription, you can only cancel your Hulu account from your Spotify account page. To do so, select Your Services under Account Overview then click Deactivate Hulu.

This only removes your access to Hulu – Your Spotify account is not impacted.
