5 Solutions to Fix Paramount Plus not working on Fire TV

If you always encounter problems with Paramount+ on Fire TV, you are not alone. Paramount+ is definitely the buggiest app on Fire TV, especially Insignia and Toshiba fire TVs, which haven’t done a very good job of adding the fire OS to the TV software. Apps like Paramount+ not working seems common. Luckily there are some workarounds to fix Paramount+ not working on Fire TV, check them out!

1. Relaunch the Paramount+ app

Disconnect and reconnect your WiFi, then relaunch the Paramount+ app. If that doesn’t work, reboot your modem, then restart your device and relaunch Paramount+ app. Make sure you are not using a vpn or ads blockers on the Fire TV or on your router.

2. Uninstall and reinstall the app

  1. Go to Settings  on your Fire TV device.
  2. Select Applications .
  3. Select Manage Installed Applications.
  4. Select Paramount+, and then Uninstall.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Clear cache and data

  1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV homescreen
  2. Select Applications (Apps)
  3. Select Manage Installed Applications then the Paramount+ app. 
  4. Select Clear Cache and then Clear Data.

4. Subscribe to Paramount+ through Prime Video

Subscribed to the Paramount+ Channel on Prime Video if you have Prime membership, then you can stream Paramount+ content via Prime Video app on Fire TV, which works a lot better than on the Paramount app.

How to subscribe to Paramount+ through Prime Video?

On the web:

1. Visit https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/addons and click Paramount+ under Subscriptions – Sponsored.

2. On the following page, click More details.

3. Select a Paramount+ plan and follow the on-screen instructions.

On the device:

  1. Run Prime Video app and choose Paramount+ channel.
  2. Choose Select Plan for either Paramount+ Essentials ($7.99*/mo) -OR- the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan ($12.99*/mo).
  3. Verify your account info, and click Start your free trial – Pay later. After your free trial, you’ll be billed through your Amazon account. 

5. Download Paramount+ videos to MP4 and watch on Fire TV

Subscribe to Paramount+ from Prime Video and stream Paramount+ via Prime Video app can fixed most Paramount+ app issues on different devices, however, a Prime membership is required. If you don’t have Prime membership, you can’t subscribe to Paramount+ from Prime Video.

Step 1. Launch Pazu Paramount Plus Video Downloader
